Jon Corzine would make a fascinating novel character, a smart, powerful man, ambitious but full of hubris. A connected person, a risktaker, full of contradiction—both civic-minded and money hungry.  After this latest debacle and the failure of his fund, where woud a novelist take this character? On a redemption journey? On a personal quest?  Could he be understood, could he be loved? Business rarely takes motive into its figuring but fiction always does.
